ReNew Energy Global is an Indian renewable energy company, based in Gurgaon. It is the first Indian renewable energy company to be listed on NASDAQ. ReNew operates more than 150 projects spread across ten states in India.
Formerly called ReNew Power, the company rebranded itself as ReNew in February 2023.
In the 2025 S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment, ReNew achieved a score of 84 and was included in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026.
As per reports in December 2025, Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company withdrew from a consortium planning to acquire and privatize ReNew Energy Global.
As of December 2025, ReNew’s total portfolio stood at approximately 19.2 GW, including 1.5 GW of battery energy storage systems, with a commissioned capacity of 11.4 GW. Wikipedia
